One of my longer stories, Lesbian Boxing/BP, based on the old 1948 Columbia film LEATHER GLOVES, starring Cameron Mitchell, which was, in turn, based on the story "No Place to Go" by Richard English, which ran in The Saturday Evening Post, Jun 29, 1946. The negatives for the movie LEATHER GLOVES were destroyed in the great Columbia film archives fire in the 1960's, but I had seen the movie prior to that and remembered it fairly well...a memory I refreshed by tracking down and reading the original story by English in the bound volumes of the reference section in the NIU library in Dekalb, Illinois. After that, many of the details of the movie came back fresh in my mind, and I wrote this story as a 'flipside' take, changing the fighters from male to female and putting the Lesbian spin on it. This was really my first foray into really 'serious' fiction in the BP fetish scene, with a solid plotting and fully fleshed-out characters.
